Analytics & Conversion Optimization
Numbers you can actually make decisions from
Most analytics setups are wrong somewhere that matters. Fixing that is often the highest-value marketing work available, because every other decision leans on it.

The most common tracking failure is invisible
Consent Mode has to initialize before your tag manager loads. When that order is wrong, and in single-page React apps it very often is, the tags fire before they've seen the default consent state and the update lands too late to help. The reports still look reasonable, which is exactly what makes it dangerous, while Google Ads quietly loses a big chunk of conversions from people who did accept your banner.
Fix the biggest leak first
Conversion work goes sideways when it becomes a parade of button-color tests. We look for the step where the most interested people give up, which is usually a form asking for too much, a page crawling on mobile, or an obvious objection nobody answered. Fixing one of those beats fifty micro-tests.
Small sites need judgment, not just statistics
A lot of businesses don't have the traffic to hit statistical significance on an A/B test in any reasonable timeframe. Pretending otherwise means drawing confident conclusions out of noise. At lower volumes we lean on session recordings, funnel data, and interaction patterns that are already well established, and we're clear about which conclusions are measured and which are informed judgment.
Questions
Common questions about analytics & conversion optimization
If you get visitors in the EU or UK, or you fall under California's privacy law, effectively yes. Google also requires Consent Mode v2 signaling for ads shown to EEA users. Even for a US-only business it's becoming the safer default, and done right it barely costs you any measurement.
